Build it. Then break it.
SpidyOps is a software and security agency. We finish things properly or we cut the scope until we can. If you work the same way — designers, developers, security testers — we would like to know you.
// hiring status
No open roles right now.
We work through partners, so most of the people we bring in never applied to a posting. Tell us what you do and we will come back to you when something fits. Introduce yourself ↓
// who we work with
Three disciplines, one bar
Designers who can take a product from nothing to a finished interface — and who stay involved while it gets built.
Web and mobile engineers who write code that goes to production: typed, tested, accessible, quick.
Testers who find things by hand, not by scanner, and write it up so the engineers reading it know what to change.
// the standard we hold
How we think about the work
No shipping it now and fixing it later. If it cannot go out secure, accessible and fast, we cut scope instead of cutting corners.
Threat modelling and review happen during the build, not after it. We break our own work to find out whether it holds.
This site and our iOS app are held to the same standard as client work. You can go and look at them.
We would rather take fewer projects and finish them properly. That tends to suit the people we work with too.
// how we work
How the partner model works
Everything ships under one name, built by a small group of people we have worked with before. When a project needs a skill we do not have on hand, we bring in someone who does — under NDA, answerable to us, held to the same standard.
Wherever you are. There is no office to move to.
You take what fits your calendar. We come to you when a project needs what you do.
You work under NDA and the work ships under the SpidyOps name. Same standard as anything else we deliver.
// introduce yourself
Tell us what you do
There is no role to apply for. This is just an introduction — we keep it, and we get in touch when something comes up that suits you. You will get an email confirming we have it, with a reference number.
